I'd love to hear about why you'd want or not want to be a parent, which baby names you like.
If you're a parent, I'd like to hear about how your kids are, how many you have, how old they are, what it was like raising them, what culture they embraced, what the hardest part of raising them was, what the sibling rivalry's like, what it's like to be the oldest middle or youngest, as well as any interesting stories involving them.
I'd also like to talk about any parenting issues we face as a society from all sorts of viewpoints, whether you're a parent of babies, teens, or not a parent.
Well, I am almost 21. A mother of one. A beautiful 4 year old daughter. Her name is Shaylee. I wouldn't trade her for the universe. She is well behaved, polite, and full of stories.
She is being raised speaking English and Spanish. The hardest part is everything. I didn't have a mother and barely a father growing up so I'm following my instincts. She doesn't have any siblings...........yet lol.
Interesting stories.......well, theres an interesting story almost every day with her as she has a HUGE imagination.
The issue I have to deal with most is the fact I became a mother at 16 years old. It has been extremely difficult, but I am coping with it. I have to face alot of people who think I am an unfit parent because of the way I look.
I lived with a girl for a few years who had a little boy. He was taken away from his mother, and at the time I thought it was unfair. I knew she wasn't the best mother or anything, but I believe in family. By the end of our relationship, however, I now 100% agree with the decision, however I also think her son needs to be taken away from her mother as well. both my ex and her mother have borderline personality with schizo tendencies, but hide it to the public. Sometimes it really is for the best, and many parents are sick people. It is just such an injustice when a child is taken away from a deserving parent for whatever reason.
My son is 4 years old... :o how did he get so big. He loves to play, he is the best at video games for his age... he can even kick my butt at times. He is the most hansome little boy ever and I can't wait for him to grow up so I can see what he is like, but at the same time I don't want him to grow up. I discovered a way to make him walk faster when we are out... stop and go game... no more dawdling <br />I do find it difficult to meet guys... it seems that when there is a kid involved it is usually more complicated which makes it that much harder on me and him. He is confused because he doesn't have a dad and most the kids around him do... so whenever I have a guy friend over he asks if it is his dad. [img][/img]
